A DOGgone good cause. Win a trip and save a life

Hey folks, I'm a member of a national rescue organization that finds homes for displaced Airedale Terrier dogs. Were doing a fund raiser raffle to raise money to enable our efforts. The prize is a week long trip for 2 to Jackson Hole that includes airfare, lodging and lifts.

Looks like a great trip/prize. I thought you guys might be interested in taking a chance on it, while helping to save and improve the lives of our furry face four paw friends in the process. Tickets are only $5. Thanks in advance for participating in this good cause, and best of luck in the raffle. I hope an Epic friend ends up the winner.

And thanks to Epicski for providing the means to tell you about it.

Bump. I tried to buy a raffle ticket, five bucks, why not? I'm ADD and got lost in the registation process. Can you make it easier? I don't have paypal but am willing to give my credit card numbers to website that a trusted person says is OK. I don't want to fill out long forms.

Telerod, SugarCube,,,

I just went through the process to test it out. Looks as though you can get to the "checkout now" point by creating a name and password, then providing an address to ship the tickets to, and credit card info to pay for the tickets. I can personally vouch for the credibility of the organization and the website.

If you'd rather, you can PM me here at Epic and I'll give you my address so you can send a check, and I'll make sure you get your tickets. Thanks for contributing to this.

Ask a bear to be your partner... Raffles have weird laws that limit them.

We're in Rick and given that I've only ever won a raffle once in my life I'm due

Annie & I are looking at getting a rescue dog near to us in the very near future to pair with the fantastic shelter dog we have now.

Great cause and it's good to know that a dog somewhere will win even if we don't

Bumping this thread up. We're in the last couple weeks before the drawing on this. Deadline for entry is Oct 9th. Ticket sales have been rather low, so those Bears who've bought tickets and those who might choose to do so have a pretty reasonable shot at winning the trip to Jackson Hole.

Pretty decent opportunity here, and your taking a chance helps save the life of one of our furry face friends. Thanks for pitching in, and good luck. I'll post a winner report on the 11th.

Just bought tickets, but not sure if they are going to go through. I forgot that my local address does not match my CC billing address.

Well, guys, I'm pleased to report that the raffle was a big success thanks to the good people of Epicski. The bad news is that one of us was not the winner. I was so hoping the winner would be a bear, and the odds were well in our favor. Thanks to everyone who pitched in and took a chance, and in doing so helped save the life of a discarded dog in need. In my book you are all winners.

Crap, now I actually need to do some work to pay for my Jackson Trip.... Do you want fries with that??

Money well spent to help the doggies though for sure...
