Some guy came in the shop tonight to get his board. he had hit some landmines between some trees. I went to get the board and looked at it. Gawd! How terrible! some jerk in the shop, when I'm not there P-texed it and didn't finish the job. I was embarrassed! I scraped it down with taht (what the H*ll is that tool called? The one with the thin metal sheet with the big teeth in it? A Planer?) Oh well. Got the bumps out of it and ran it a few times over the Wintersteiger. Phil... No I did not use 80 grit!
Use 120, light pressure and plenty of water solution. Ther are still visible marks but it's smooth now. The guy was happy.
Yes. P-tex is very, very warm.
BTW- Mounted a guys skis tonight. His boots have scads of duct tape on one side. Why didn't he buy boots instead? Now THAT's a burn!
