Mad River Glen Bumper Sticker

This is going back several years at this point, but does anyone remember the Burton bumper sticker that parodied the MRG classic? It read something like, "MRG - I'd Ride it if I Could."

Now an even longer shot - can anyone point me towards the sticker online? I've searched google images, regular google searches, Burton's website, etc., with no luck so far.

Thanks guys...

Sorry, only have the classic MRG stickers. Several times, this past season, I saw snowboarders riding the mountain, in various costumes, shooting video, to try to win the Burton vid contest. Funny thing, though, in each case their videographers were on skis...

People just don't get it. We're not being "Star-Bellied Sneeches". MRG is a small mountain with snowmaking only at the base and in a transition area just up from there. There's also limited grooming. It's really a throwback to the 'early' days of skiin'...It's a unique experience and out of the myriad ski hills in the US, it's awesome that this experience is available. The mountain just can't support snowboards. I even feel bad when I get in over my head and push snow, rather than carve my turns.

3 skier only hills outta hundreds of others....Silly to focus on what you don't have, rather than celebrate and be grateful for what you do have.

Your lecture was of no help to me, Millah.

I don't now that I believe that "the snow won't support snowboarders." Most snowboarders? I imagine. Some? No.

On the other hand, it's a co-op. I saw as a rider, and more importantly, someone who thinks that property rights is a good thing, let them do what they want. If that's their market niche, it may strike you as illogical, prejudiced, etc. Tough. There are plenty of other places to go. Being able to impose your preferred method of sliding on someone else is not a God-given right.

After viewing all the Burton videos, I think I'd get bored pretty quick on that quaint ski hill. There really does appear to be limited terrain there. I'll stick to ski areas on National Forest Service land. I like to be challenged in my riding.

I did see the classic sticker "Mad River Glen, Ski it if You Can" on a jeep in the middle of nowhere in Indonesia.

Iskitoofast, I wish I could help you. I do know what you're talking about but have not seen it anywhere other than in pics.

Good luck on your search.

ADHD in the house

Guys, I'm not concerned about being allowed to step foot on MRG property. I can and have skied there as recently as this past season. I'm just looking for a funny bumper sticker!

We don't know where your sticker is, so we bump the thread increasing the likelihood that someone who does know will see the thread and help you. You're welcome. Glad I could help.

Maybe you could print your slogan on a piece of plastic and glue it to your bumper.

The new sticker says " Mad River Glen: Poach it if you can" You can get one at Darkside Snowboard Shop in Vermont. My son who is a boarder got one in the Stowe shop. I believe they have 4 locations in VT. One is in Killington near you.

Thanks, Dauntless. There's actually a Darkside shop at the base of Okemo, too. Good to know.

I've heard Mad River's OK, but what's Glen got to do with it? Let's leave Glen out of it if we can...
