Those are center lock hubs and disc rims my friend.
I think it does have 1 V-brake arm on the left side.
I have the Superfly and I am quite impressed by it. I am not "in love" with the 29er wheels, but the Superfly has certainly made it easier to love them.
Make sure you have a light set of wheels if you do not want to experience the more sluggish feel of a larger wheel. I use Specialized Fast Track 2.0 tires on the Superfly. More than enough for XC.
I even decided to race with a 29er front wheel on my race bike (a rigid singlespeed On One Inbred 26er). The 29er wheel fits easily in the Pace RC31 carbon fork and the geometry is quite right. All my races have been on the "96er" format and I think I will continue that way.
I might use the Superfly in 8 hour races - oh the shame of showing up with gears and suspension.
