That FP was indeed a burly ski in its day. Love the Freestyles, one of my favorite graphics of all time. My wife had a pair of the black 7sK's in a 193, she loved that ski and skied great on it. You need some ROC's, SM's and ST Comp.

Cool!! I had a set of STS's (195cm - first skis I owned), and the 7SK's (205cm). Thanks for the walk down memory lane...

Anyone remember the dark blue original Salto, two layers of metal with plastic between?

I have a pair of Freestyles in the basement with Tyrolia 350 bindings. I just might take them out for a spin sometime.

Also need CMs, FMs, and Maybe EMs just to have the trifecta. Same topsheet pattern as Freestyles:

That series came after the Freestyles that are pictured. The CM (burg/gray) replaced the Freestyle, The FM (blue/gray) replaced the Smash (orange/purple) and the EM replaced the Exibition II (blue/white). This happened in 81 or so. IIRC, the CM's were one of the least durable skis of the day, I knew people going through 3-4 pr a season. The CM was then replaced by the CM-V.

I have a pair of 1973 223cm Rossignol Descente downhill racing skis & a pair of 1979 207cm Rossignol STs that would look really good in that collection but I'd have a hard time parting with them.....I'll leave them to you in my will.

The ST650's were the first skis I ever made a carved turn on at Brodie Mtn in, ummm, let's see, maybe 1971?

I sold them for some ST Comps - bad mistake, still regret it.

I must have demoed a Rossi Freestyle at some point in my past. I have a picture of me flying off of a lip and the base of the skis look like those Freestyles. I didn't buy them, though. I think they predated the k2 710 Comps by a couple of years, which is what I eventually ended up buying.

710 and Freestyles were out about the same time.

I love to see those Volkl Renntiger r's in the background.
Those were my all time favorites.
That ski did everything well.
In fact I recall that some world cup skiers used it for slalom and GS

CS,

You said you wanted to see a picture of them in their new home.....
Say, when did they stop putting the li'l rooster on their products? I just realized that I haven't seen it on any contemporary Rossi offerings.
