And just to pile on a little more...

Sorry, bwipa, but the thought of you giving someone a hard time about a typo has got me laughing so hard I can barely see the keyboard.

Kettle, may I please introduce you to Mr. Pot?

Welcome to Epicski Summer 2008!!!

The art is in finding ways to make these 'lame threads' personally entertaining.

"what is the sound of one hand clapping?"

Would it help if I pop in?
I've been known to be entertaining.

As Long as I'm here, Bob, how's the "skiing every month" going?

Pretty good. I'm at month 129 and still counting.

Matter of fact, by this time in a lot of years the quality of the skiing has pretty much dropped off the map. This year, however, it's just fantastic. Here's what we did yesterday with EpicSkier Kate Howe: 6-14-08 Trip Report.

We have so much snow in the high country that I shouldn't have too much trouble getting through the summer. Fact is, I just got home from a recon hike up in Teton Park. I've got a new target for a ski outing later this week.

You should come out and join in the summer festivities one of these days.

Bob, do you think you will make it out here this year in October to start year 12? I had a great time finishing my first TAY with you a few years back. My streak is intact, too, although I have a long way to go to catch up! (44 months so far). I would be up skiing today if I wasn't on 2nd call- lots of white still visible on the front range, and good reports about this past week. I'm hoping for August in the Cascades this year.

Wow. I can't believe that was three years ago already. Time flies.

That's very cool that you're still at it. It becomes sort of addictive, doesn't it?

I don't think I'll make it down there this October. I'm having to spend quite a bit more time with family back in Iowa, and I'm already scheduled to be there for quite a while in October. You'll just have to make more turns in my absence.

The term my wife tends to use is "obsessive"
