Strolz and Strolz retailer in NH/Any first hand knowledge

Following up on my custom theme--I have read past posts on Strolz, but really couldn't get a clear fix on collective opinions...I know they are good for really wide feet. I have also heard that they are pretty soft...although I think most weekend warriors (like me) are in boots that are way to stiff anyway.

Any strong opinions on Strolz---are they ok for narrower feet--is it a better option for overall fit if one felt like spending the time and money?

I have a smaller foot and high arch. Level 8/9--I dont have a real problem with my current boots (after blowing out the shell all around)...but I would consider spening the cash--if I knew I was getting the ultimate fit and a long term solution. There is a dedcated Strolz store in Hampton NH--on the coast of all places...any one know anything about this operation?

Thanks,

Best,

Blitz

Try a search. I know tat there are some users here that have dealt with them. I think for some people, they are a good solution. They have more than one boot, so I wouldn't characterize them as soft or stiff.

My mom got fitted for her Strolz at Performace in Aspen. She had foot problems and she couldn't ski in anything else.

Some Strolz models used come with interchangeable bottoms and cuffs in several sizes and stiffnesses. You could buy Strolz boots that are very stiff, and I imagine you still can.

It may be necessary to drive to Strand's in Worcester, MA. Very good Strolz fitter; plan to spend some time (and $$$ - Strolz are not cheap). Call first to make sure they are open - I think they close in the summer for a while, and hours are curtailed except in season.
