I'd bet a dollar that definition of the phrase "ski tote" isn't in that dictionary:

But "Gaper" probably is.

Like new Boeri helmet in my size.

$5

it made a great loaner helmet a few times, the womans son had bought it because he was going to reallllllly get into snowboarding .... he went one time. Some snowboarder made out like a bandit all his gear was getting sold off when he went to college. She was taking whatever people would offer her.

I didn't want to "cheap Charlie" her ... but I didn't need a helmet (had 2 already), she just said make me an offer ... any offer ...

Shut up, dude! : I totally had one.

You could even put your poles in there!

No school ski trip was complete without a Ski Tote, a bag of skittles, and hand warmers.

I'll kick your asss if you insult my childhood one more time.

Oh... and any sane person would have to buy that dictionary out of principle alone. I'd even design a stand for it... accompanied by white cotton gloves.

This is almost like a piece of photographic art - the globe stands in the background in silent awe of the almighty Tote, supported by a tome of great knowledge ... this should be in the Smithsonian I think ....

You forgot about your "I-Ski" sunglasses:

I had the yellow ones with the orange and red layered frames

They also came in red-white-and-blue layered frames.

I still remember how devestated I was when they broke. They were in my red and yellow White Stag vest pocket and I fell on them. I tried to glue them back together three times...

Snagged a sweet pair of vintage wooden skis (late 40's early 50's) with bindings in excellent condition for $30.00 last year.

I just bought a pair of lightly used Flexon Comps (yellow and black) from my neighbor. I'm trying to persuade my son to use them, but he thinks they're ugly. I think they're probably perfect for him, if they fit, of course.

The BSL is 318, so if I can't convince him, I guess they'll go on gear swap....

My neighbor picked up a pair of vintage wooden skis for me for $5 last summer.

I just recently found a teal Ski Tote in my basement! I have no idea where it came from. It must have been a gift from 20+ years ago that I never used.

We saw this same dictionary in an antique shop in Gold Beach, OR --- in somewhat better condition, with a blue cover---priced in excess of 200 bucks!
