I've used my Salomon X-Wave 10 (yellow) for 2-3 seasons and about 10 days of skiing. I use them for carving only, and I like how they secure the whole foot inside very solid w/o letting any movement. However they press too much on the top part of my feet, toward the outer side. Should I have them widened up, or should I consider getting another boot with similar stiffness characteristics though, more soft. Or just thought of that: Should I try to soften the area that is being pressed too much with let's say putting several layers of cotton!?
