Sorry to keep obsessing over next year's ski plans and possible season passes, but I am in turmoil. I need help.

How do you decide if the season pass investment is practical and cost effective? Break even could be determined by dividing the cost of the pass by the cost of the ticket, but I say there should be a discount for the ticket when doing the calculations. Consideration should be givin in that you will not be able to ski as much elsewhere and that you will be passing up other deals.

What's your formula. Your reasoning might also be that it's simply where you ski and you don't do the math. There are lots of peole who don't break even on their passes.
