So, everyone is skiing in a dress for Mother's Day, right?

It is a tradition around here for many climbers and skiers/snowboarders to climb Mt Saint Helens in a dress and ski down to honor their Mother's influence on them on Mother's day.

Figure I'll take the tradition to the ski resort Sunday and everyone on this forum should do the same. Heading out to Goodwill to find me a nice outfit for Sunday. One that flows in the wind. That momentary flash of fuscia that appears in the corner of your eye is just me zooming by in my $5 Goodwill dress. I wonder if REI has sunscreen lipstick. . . .

If you do, get a picture taken to post here.

Um, my plan is to don "the Sweater Deux" for an Abasin Beach Scene!

I'll be skiing, but not in a dress. How many men own a dress (I really don't want to know)?

We are postponing Mothers day activities when all the family is together the following weekend.

It doesn't have to be Mothers Day for me to wear a dress.

maybe. i've been thinking about wearing a bra lately as i've really increased my weightlifting and they have kept getting bigger. :

maybe, i'll just go all the way to bra, dress and panties. i hear it's a lot cooler than jeans.

(and one of my sisters is starting to get jealous.)

Ah yes, you just went to an Eddie Izzard Concert. That explains the desire to cross dress.

Thank you Mom!

Goodwill dress $7.
Spring ticket at Mt. Bachelor $30.
One Mocha Latte to get the courage up $4.
Honoring my mother for what she did to me: priceless

Those are Mantras on a light dusting of powder over hard ice, by the way. Mantras, my new 1 quiver ski. (isn't quiver what your lower lip did when your mom caught you in her clothes closet?)
Have a great week everyone!

Tsk, tsk, tsk, MLC. No Summer Prints in Wrap Dress Style Before Memorial Day! That's the rule.

Yes, it does beg the question: what did your mother do to you! Mocha LATTE?????:

Ya did good, son.

My mother raised me not to be hung up.

This kid was making fun of me in the lift line and I pointed out that he was the one with the fruit-colored snowboard.

Actually, everyone really warmed up to the idea. I didn't know it, but I guess what I was wearing was a "mumu". or something like that.

Honestly? It made me ski better. Don't know why.

This guy in the parking lot was smoking a cigareete hanging out with his family. They liked the idea but he kinda said it was silly. I pointed out that he was the one smoking a fag.

I skinned up Quandary, called mom from the top, then skied down(no dress). She said she liked this Mother's day call better than any other.

MA:
I can't tell much from these photos:
Your hands look a little busy, loose wrists.
Your fore/aft appears a bit "back seat".

Got Video?
