actually its better cheaper and better for me...I like my camelback menace better. This has more rooms and has some better features but dont like the ski carry on it, because its doesnt work to well going downhill.

I'll help BWPA out and throw in my $.02.

My girlfriend has this pack and likes it. The shovel/probe storage is good. It's pretty low profile for riding lifts. It's also nice that it doesn't have a lid in the way every time you need to grab something out of the top (like girlfriend's lightweight gloves when her hands get cold on the skin).

It has access through the back panel to get to stuff stored lower.

I would say it's a good pack for lift riding/slackcountry if you don't hike much, or a decent girlfriend/2nd pack for touring.

I like the volume and features of my BCA pack, but we always put the stuff we want to be easy to get to in her/this pack. Mostly for the ease of not moving the lid out of the way so I can grab stuff when we aren't stopping long enough to take the pack off.
