Stolen Ski Alert: 09 Hart Twisted Twin 176cm

I have been victimized. At the end of skiing today at Okemo a pair of my demo skis were stolen: 2009 Hart Twisted Twins 176 cm w/ Marker 12.0 Speedpoints. These skis were center mounted. This pair is probably the ONLY pair on the east coat. I am not sure if the karma-less creeps are dumb enough to ski them this season, but if you are out and about, please keep an eye out. Also, if you are in any shops, please mention it to the techs to keep an eye out. Note alos the little black lien by the speedlock dial, that is a distinguishing mark, also being the only pair of these around is a sure fire red flag.

Ugh. I'd say I'll keep my eye out but I doubt they'll show up around here.
I will keep my eye out on the alternate sources for sale.
This really sux.

Keep looking on eBay as well--they may show up months from now. I had skis stolen a few years back and about a month later, they were on eBay. Unfortunately, I hadn't written down the serial number and there were no distinguishing marks (they were brand new but very uncommon, and I put a specific model and color of new-old-stock bindings on them, so there was no doubt in my mind that they were mine, but that wasn't enough), so according to the police, there wasn't much I could do.

I hope you find the a$$hole(s) who stole your skis, Phil.

Phil;
You know I'm always trolling eBay US and Craigslist locally. If I see them I'll act like I'm proactively very interested in buying them and alert you and the authorities immediately.

Nobody deserves this (especially you).

Makes a segue' to the Epic Ski platform though..

DEATH PENALTY FOR STEALING SKI EQUIPMENT!

May they rot in hello

What were you doing on centermounted skis anyway?
Phil,

Were they taken from the rack at your demo setup?
Or were they out for a demo and never got returned?

I wish you good luck in the recovery of these, sucks big time.

I just think you shouldbe glad that they were worty of stealing. Of all the other skis they could have taken, they took your Harts. You must be doing something right!

Phil, "ski-lock" You have too much stuff people will want. Unfortunately, you are going to need to get a couple of these.
That sucks, Phil. People who steal other's gear piss me off - in the fall someone stole my seat and seatpost off my mountain bike when it was locked up outside a polling station when I was voting. If you don't get 'em back, I hope karma gets those bastards.

Maybe the bears can help you get your skis back, it happened a few weeks ago with a car. Proof of what an internet forum can do when properly motivated:

Should we start a Ski-Tote fund for our local Hart Rep?

You know where to find Phil if you see 'em.

You know as much as I hate Ski-Locks, s**t like this is all the more reason to buy one.
Even worse is the fact that I ski a lot at Okemo as it's close to home.
A lifetime of bad karma to the person who stole those skis.

Wow those are very unique! If I see anyone on them I'll make sure they don't leave with them on- and also that they leave looking like someone else! BASTARDS!
