What's wrong with Obama & Clinton????

They are both in Montana today and the local resort, Discovery, got 7" last night and its supposed to snow hard all day yet neither is taking a powder day off to go skiing. With screwed up priorities like that its no wonder the nation is in such a mess.

Wasn't the last president to ski Gerald Ford? He learned on those big hills of Michigan, I think.

Ageed --------------we NEED a skier in the White House !!!

Kinda BARELY scratching the surface there, Rio... I don't really have a horse in the race this time around, but those two... :

After the bowling, taking a stab at another sport might not have been the best idea.

I'm so glad that this is ski related. I thought It would be moved to the lounge but since we're on ski topic here I too must wonder about their priorities. How can you skip a powder day? Speaking as a PA Democrat, I still can't decide who would be the better skier. This sorry example just confuses me more. So funny, here Hill is coming across as the dirt bag ski bum and Barrack looks like the academy ski ace. What a 360!

There's some good basis for an EpicSki Political Party

Don't think that Ahhnold is able to run for a higher position - but he's got to be one of the better skiers currently in public office.

Can you imagine Arnold in that shirtless mogul scene from fistful......rippin the bumps....."yaaaahhhh I destroyed those mogules".

Yah AHHnold : " Only girly men don't ski"

Bode for Prez! He'll put beer in every refrigerator, whether it needs it or not.

If you ask Richie-Rich, he'll probably nominate Yuki as the new president

Barack and Hillary on skis is quite the image. Cheers for that.

Would voting for a gaper be legal anyway? I mean, isn't confidence required to run the country? That's why they're not skiing. They know we'll rip them apart in threads like these.

I would bet that Obama could ski... to a point. But I bet he'd get injured too due to his lack of modesty. He just never thinks he's wrong... nor does Hillary for that matter.

One of these days I'd like to hear a nominee admit that he/she doesn't actually have all the answers. What ever happened to that?

Presidential candidates appeal to the voters, and the voters (self rightious and ignorant bastards that so many are) tolerate no imperfection. They almost beg to be lied to. It's a wonder that the system even holds together, in this country or any other.

There could not be an EpicSki Party. EpicSki is a forum, a place for exchange of ideas - open to ideas (civilly expressed). That doesn't sound like a political party.

well said.

I can imagine the skier running for pres... "We need more snow!"

crowd; "Yeah!"

We'd all vote for him without having any idea as to how that snow would arrive. It's amazing how both Hillary's and Obama's speeches are so focused on what we need... and not how we can get it.

Given the image of Kerry on a snowboard last time around, I'm not sure I need to see these two on skis.

Didn't Bill & Hill at a very transparently calculated vacation in Jackson Hole years ago? Did they hit the slopes then (I don't even remember what time of year it was)?

celebs on skis

You should see the River Keepers act in Banff every January. Pathetic, shameful and that doesn't even factor in their politics.
