Karbon was nice enough to hook my jacket up with a forearm pocket just big enough for the necessities...
Burt's Bees is huge. The kind with honey in it sucks tho- it smells like the inside of a fake leg or something.
I have been bringing an extra pair of gloves recently, I start off with my lighter neoprene gloves and if they get wet or it's too cold, I'll throw on the beefy ones. Lifesaver when your hands are wet and cold on a dumper day.
Extra pair of socks. Sometimes they get really sweaty, and nobody likes that.
Ditto on the facemask with the helmet liner- no more adjusting a hat, facemask, etc... definately saved my ugly mug from some frostnip suffered by my other party members more than once!
Fistful of easy food. Jerky, granola/protein bars, and electrolyte jelly cubes all rock when you just don't want to go in yet.
Pain killer. Chase away the aches and complaining joints midday with a help from the 'ol bottle. No, I'm not talkin' OC or something stupidly crazy. Excedrin, Motrin, etc are fine.
Obviously a backpack to put this crap in. I only bring it because I hate going into the lodge. I would rater ski w/o it, but hey intentions dictate actions so I deal.
Leatherman tool. Waaaaay too many years watching MacGyver as a kid to not bring it.
Flask with booze. It gets cold up there!
Don't forget to forget something. It's just not a trip if you have everything you want/need with you.
