I'm so sorry for you Weems. This would rip out my heart if it happened to my precious son. FWLIW, our best wishes and support for you and your family. I can only guess your son was doing what he loved best and made him happy.

Weems,

I don't think I've ever met you, but have seen you around. I met and rode with Wallace a few times, and raced with the twins when we were in high school. I can't even imagine what you're going through. You definitely raised a good man. It is so sad that he is no longer with us.

I hope you are with your family now, and are able to find comfort with them.

You are all very kind and beautiful. Thank you.

You normally don't get to choose the length of your life. So much about that seems pretty random to me. Wallace was a very careful, even a conservative, jumper. Yet...

However, you do get to choose the quality of your life--what you do in it. He chose very very well--right from the beginning.

We can't really process this right now. But I'm proud of him and everything he did. He was always elegant, kind, smiling, and stylin'. And he was a magic dancer on this snowboard.

Our hearts are torn to pieces. They will heal as Wallace's spirit is always deep within us.

Your thoughts and caring help a lot. Thank you all.
