Pretty cool boots! ;-)
So let me ask it this way...
What does that slider tab thing across the top of the instep do? Tighten/loosen?
What about the (pop up?) handle thingee in front of that?
Seems I read somewhere that upper cuff and (also?) sole cant could be tweaked on these types of boots? Is that so? If yes, how?
Slide tabs control the flex,
The pop up thingie controls the wrap around the fore foot, it has a "memo" feature that remembers how tight it is and releases pressure then goes back where it was.
You could get cantable soles, .5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 degrees. Plus you could cuff align the top.
I know I'm a little late to this party, but, DAMN, that's a pretty nice feature set! I know others have brought the idea up in other threads recently, but why not bring an updated version of that boot back into the market? It could be targeted for beginners and intermediates, and folks who have issues with four buckle boots. Individual purchase and rental fleets. Experts could give it a wide berth. Or not. ;-)
Anyway, thanks for filling in those blanks.
