.......... Now! On my list of skis I want back is the VR-70...OK all of you are scratching your heads now...does anyone remember the VR-70?
How about we make that an open question for now? Everyone near of about 60 years old might remember them and why there are none around now.
How about this one the Hanson Experimental One i.e. Moose River Hummers?
Also...yes pictures please?
See this previous post regarding VR70. I thought they were my brother's skis. He thought they were mine. Neither of us remembers how we came to own them. They would have been used for sure. I don't remember ever skiing on them. Maybe we got them already damaged and they weren't skiable? Should I assume there was some sort of inherent defect in the VR70???
Re: Hanson Experimental One. I may have skied on those. Hank Kashiwa came to our local ski shop in the summer/fall for a Hanson promotional event. They had one of these small artifical ski ramps set up, the kind you see at an indoor expo. Hank was looking for a volunteer to try his boots and skis and I was the only one in the crowd who could fit in his boots They were the Hanson Experimental, although I don't remember the 'One' designation. That's my story!
