Actually most of it looks like Aspen. The first air segment is Scarlets Run, above the Merry Go Round at Highlands.
The bump run with the low slung chair is the original Bell chair, going up the Ridge on Aspen Mountain.

When I was living in aspen and teaching freestyle at Aspen Highlands, there was no scarlet's Run, although the Merry Go Round was there. The run was called Flora Dora then! One of the best bump runs ever. On Fridays they held freestyle contests where all constestants started with moguls, then transitioned into a ballet routine and finished with an aerial of their choice, landing in front of the Merry Go Round. Man, those were indeed the days!!!
Some vintage skiing and racing for you from the 50s:

Same run I competed on in the Dearborn Cup, but they eliminated the ballet portion.
Harlan Adams, heir to Colonel Sanders fortune, paid $50k to name the run after his wife sometime in the early 80's.
I was having a senior moment and just couldn't think of the old name.
Some of those people were very fit, and very good skiers!
I remember being greatly humbled skiing Highlands (and a couple other Aspen areas) with some C M ski locals back in 83. Good times there for sure!

Interesting!
Animal House of the Slush Cups.
I like this film that comes on after that other one. It's probably been played here. Vail mostly:

I was wondering that as I watched. Thanks.
Where Are They Now: An Interview With The Egan Brothers
Best known as the Egan Brothers, Dan and John Egan were first spotted by Warren Miller crews at Sugarbush, VT, in 1978. They went on to star in over a dozen Warren Miller films, together and individually, showing that ski bums could make good.
This has been posted on Epic before, but seems appropriate to put it here too...
It looks like those haven't ever been mounted....
Here are a couple of pics some fun items I've found in recent weeks. I hope you'll enjoy them. I plan to ski the KASTLE DH's, swap the 747 equipes from the Rossi's onto the "Chicken Hearts" , put some N17's on the HEAD STD's and as this is the second pair of Head 360's on a 205 I'll mount 1 pair with N17's and 1 pair with the black and Yellow Rossignol(LOOK) Bindings I almost put on the HEAD Competition DH skis that I picked up last year. the Javelins are the reproductions from a few years ago. they even have some decent bindings on them. that should keep me out of trouble for a little while. I'll probably put the Scotts on Ebay after I clean them up a bit. anyone need some poles to match their HEXCEL Firelites?

Royal,
If you pull the bindings of of the Harts, let me know.

While I'm not a big Marker fan and I don't know much about them I figured to leave these on as they seem to go well with the color scheme and these are a high(er) end model I believe. I have yet to look them up and learn about them.

I'd be willing to bet the one facing away from the camera has.
Not only M40R Sensomatics (scary enough) but M40R Sensomatic RENTALS...ACK!!!! Personally I wouldn't trust that binding at ANY speed let alone DH speeds.

How do you spell SHOT SKI?
It would be one HELL of a shot ski
Found this on eBay. Combining 2 of my interests - alpine skiing and ur quattros.
DIN 13 toe and heel.
Maybe I'll tune them up and ski them once just to see. the graphics really don't do anything for me though. they will probably go to gate or fence material after I take the 747's off.
they are short at 195, so they shouldn't be too bad in the bumps
stay tuned for next year. I'll have side by side comparo's for the rossi to the Dynstar slaloms and Head 360's to Head JC Killy's

I have this exact same ski in a 210 GS. If you want them, there yours for shipping?
I'm interested. Can you eMail me at "rgruppe911 at gmail dot com". Thanks!
They are in Aspen and it will be a couple of weeks till I go back. I'll take some pic and send them to you and we can talk then.
Brand new! I'll be damned. How 'bout that.
Those are sweet!
My mom got a pair of those that were too stiff for her when I was about 10. I broke them in for her, for a year I was rocking the buckle boots!
I think she may even have them on here!

Here's a link to me skiing them in a promo video for Bogus Basin (1976-77 ish). Skiing doesn't start til around 2:20 & continues on & off 'til the end. I'm the guy in all orange.

Holy knee angulation! I still have quirks in my skiing from that era.
Great skiing, great video! Thanks.
