Sweet! You still have them?

Rummaged about my parents' house this morning ...
Where ski poles go to die -- along with some Elan Attache skis ... when I have more time, I'll dig them out.
Surf stickers all over the Dynastars
These are in a place of care, instead, down in the basement. (The Heads are 195, for reference; I think the K2s in the corner are on a stud, so look extra tall.)
And someone asked me recently if I'd skied with the Egans ... I think it was Trekchick. I said, No, but I'm pretty sure there is a poster of them in my old basement; here it is:
Wow, a classic.
That;s definitely Dan below. Not sure who's on top. Is that supposed to be Mike?
That should be pulled out, mounted, signed, and auctioned at an esa or online.
The goggles appear to be a folding goggle similar to those issued to 10t Mt. Division soldiers in WW II. They fit into a case smaller than a shirt pocket.
Why YES Tog.....I did need them!
I got some info on those LOOK branded skis....
"Jean-Francois Lanvers says:
Those go back to the post 1982 era after Look was purchased by France's corporate raider, Bernard Tapie. They feature the "Mondrian" colors that were slapped on everything that was Look branded, from bindings to ski poles to bikes. My guess is 1983. The skis were made by Dynamic and they were not the first that were look branded. A small, limited series of skis were already made in 1982 by Dynamic to help promote Look's "Integral" boot-binding combination in which the "rocker-sole" boot was made by Nordica. "
I've got a pair of 99RS's that will go on the silver pair....
It's 1983 all over again...here they are all mounted up with period correct NIB 99RS's
Those look like the same bindings I have on my 204 cm VOs only all shiny and new
I still say you shoulda put rossi banded looks on them hahahaha
Pretty damn STIFF! Makes my P20 SL's feel like noodles
I've been think'n about which Dynamic ski from '83 could be lurking inside......
I ride dirtbikes with Johnny E. on Thursday nights in the summer. He signed one of those posters for my son!
Great stuff. That was the start (sort-of) of the commercial extreme skiing industry...
awsome pic. those are still my current Alpine boots. I have plastic scarpa T1's for Tele. great boot. really form fitted to the foot and good stiff flex. the only thing I have done is add a power strap. never skied the spadmans. I was on Besser plates in the 70's
I think I had some of those cheeseburger skis as hand me downs when I first started skiing. What era are they?
Pretty sure mine didn't have Spademan's on them though.
Rossi, This season is still going on it looks like we may have snow again in to June. I put some more pic's of the spademan's ( metal all the way ) from the Black Hole!!!!!
Keep the Spademan's alive!
You have what has to be the BEST collection of Spademan bindings ANYWHERE!!!
Thanks for posting all these great pictures. Great displays on the wood as well and the ID's are extremly useful too.
Thanks Mack. I have the binding too and it looks just like your Junior. The butterfly is held by only four screws. I can't believe I could not make the distinction. I thought there was only one size butterfly. The plate did not fit my boot so I did not bother trying them in my new SRS2 and the juniors wound up collecting dust in the corner. All's well that ends well as I finally mounted the butterflies that came with SRS2 directly to my boots.
I know where some of the eastern leg of the clan are........we miss junior too
