Will probably put this is a separate thread, but to take the hockey discussion - loved the ESPN article: http://espn.go.com/sportsnation/teamrankings ranking the 122 Major League teams on a variety of indicators. The Wild get points for having the "best" stadium experience in the NHL, whatever that means, although I do agree that the 'X' is a very nice place to see a game, and the Wild have done a pretty good job of keeping ticket prices reasonable by today's standards. Poor Toronto gets the tail end of the dog award finishing 122 out of 122 teams in the overall standings.
Did get a kick out of the 'titles within a fan's lifetime' ranking. Wild sitting right in the middle of the NHL pack, but come on! We're Minnesotan's. We never expect our teams to do well!
Also note the NHL needs to do some work here with teams ranked at or near the bottom in Affordability (Canucks, Rangers, & Maple Leafs), Coaching (Oilers, Leafs, Penguins, Hurricanes, Islanders, Canucks, & Panthers), Stadium Experience (Islanders), Fan Relations (Maple Leafs), Ownership (Islanders), Player Effort (Maple Leafs), and Title Track (Panthers, Leafs). Maybe the Leafs just need a fresh start in Seattle...
