WOW! My boys decided to show up and play like a *** ****** professional hockey team. It's about time. FU Hossa.

That was a game that actually lived up to it's billing!
They showed great heart coming back from 5-2 against the cup champs in their building

Great game for Staal and Talbot too. Sid's working hard out there on every shift.

Kinda makes you proud to be a Pens fan

So what's your take on this Sydor/Boucher trade?

Me personally, I don't get it from either team's perspective.

We traded a 36 yr old D man worth $2.5M for a 35 yr old D Man worth $2.5M. Other than Sydor being a lefty and Boucher being a Righty, they are basically identical. Similar numbers, similar offensive abilities. I'm kind of stumped here.

I haven't seen the details, but if they are evenly matched then there might be personality conflicts somewhere that were best resolved by sending people packing. We'll take your jerk if you take our jerk...

Yes, but it was quite cool (pun definitely not intended) when the Stars moved to Dallas two years after I did My old HS friends in MN were SOOOOO pissed! It was part of the Cowboys Vikings Hershel Walker trade... Dallas also got the Stars

#1 defense vs #1 offense: score this one for the big D.

Not sure how the Wild continue to squeak by, but having the best goalie in the league right now sure helps when your team can't find the back of the net on a consistent basis and your best player has only played one game this year. Will be interesting to watch Backstrom over the rest of the season just to see if he can keep this up.

Well, most folks are glad Paul M is back. They're quick to forget Pete took the Canes all the way to glory. From , the Canes are now officially "rebuilding" IMO. New coaches usually clean house.

Real football begins this month. Steelers D vs Ravens D. Here we go Steelers, here we go.

Plenty of time to root for the Pens but they do need to work on that Power Play. I'm just now getting used to the new names.

That PP won't get any better until Sarge returns. Maybe slightly when Whitney comes back in a week or so. We're so injury plagued this year it's ridiculous.

Losing to Buffalo and NJ isn't exactly "doing well". A loss to the Islander tonight would be devastating. I don't want to even think about the beat down coming in Philly on Saturday.

We're running pretty heavy on WBS players right now. Good players, but not ready to be up in the NHL and produce.

I am shocked.

I have been through to many first round playoffs upsets after President Cup regular season to get excited about the regular season.

We all know the Wings will make the playoffs. Why waste our time with a foregoing conclusion.
