Lets go Pens!
This will work out nicely indeed....

crgildart, you have my "old team" aka Whaler's

ghost is a fellow Hab's fan

and LHC is another Pen's supporter

This is gonna be a fun season

Pens looked much better last night after blowing the three goal lead the prior game. Sid the kid got both his 100th goal and 300th point during last nights win. They've got their work cut out for them this year after so many leaving after last years runner up finish, plus a few key injuries.

The Habs are of to a great start. Tanguay looks to be a great addition for them. I hope this is their year what with the 100th year anniversary and all. Go Habs!

Hab's playing at the Bell Center tonight on Versus
The Puck drops.....NOW

LOVE the Centennial Sweaters, circa 1970-71

Nice touch for the BIG anniversary year

Hey crgildart....your boys are in town to face off
with my Pens tonight....
Hah, yer new boyz versus yer old boyz eh? Should be bad news for the igloo? Pens are probably the better team this year seriously!

But, GO CANES!!!!!!!!!!!

Want another Staal? He'll be going cheap soon.

No thanks, those brothers have a habit of getting arrested when they party together..
True, lmao. At least big brother coming into town seemed to wake Jordan up last night. He's been invisible this season.
Unfortunately for me all the birds woke up just in time for you.
I just wish Fleury could have gotten that empty netter. Him jumping up and down like "Sh$&! I missed it"! was classic. Well, for us anyway.

OOOOH!

OOOOH!

You should really watch where you are going when playing hockey...
He committed the classic mistake...put his head down at center ice. Probably won't ever do that again.

I get to see the Pens in Phoenix tomorrow night against the Coyotes! Go Pens!!
re: oooh.
situational awareness - he was concentrating too much on chiping the puck forward, and not enough on everything else.

Have a great time and give a shout out to the boys for me

They've switched the lines up again. Crosby and Malkin are on separate lines again. Don't know if Maxime will be back centering the third line again or still out with an "undisclosed" injury...

GO PENS!

That may very well end up being a phenominal waste of money and time. A loss to PHX would be a total embarrassment and the way the Pens are playing right now, highly likely.
Whew, glad the offensive odor from that 2 shot 1st period sent me to bed without wasting my time on the rest of the game.
Any speculation on what injury Sid suffered in the 3rd?
I did not see the game....
Sandy mangina if you ask me.
Anyone see the Pens last night???

5-0 after 2 and then hung on for dear life in the 3rd
for a 5-4 win.....

Think Crosby's line with Max will stick? Or still looking for the right combinations?
Knowing Therrien, no they won't stick long. Too bad, Talbot is looking real good up there. In St. Louis, I think Talbot surprised Crosby a few times with the set up he wasn't prepared for.

Last night's game is the first time I've ever been pissed after a win. 4 unanswered goals!?!? That was just plain sloppy play. Trying to set up the HT for Satan or Sykora rather than focusing on making it a 6 or 7-2 thrashing. Fleury's head was not in the game either. Lots of mistakes from him last night.

Well, it is football season and I haven't even been smack talking the Steelers. I've watch only 2 Pens games so far and I missed last night but it does seem like a pattern. I watched them blow a lead to the Cap and I think the other I saw game was similar to last night. This team has a way to go.

Pens

Tomorrow nights game against the Redwings will be broadcast by

should be an interesting game

Arrgh, I don't get Versus, canceled this summer.
Should be a good one...might be worth heading out for a late dinner somewhere with a BIG screen

You'll notice they shifted the lines around again

PENGUINS PROJECTED LINES

Forwards
Fedotenko-Crosby-Satan
Malkin-Staal-Sykora
Kennedy-Zigomanis-Cooke
Dupuis-Talbot-Godard

Defense
Orpik-Letang

Netminder
Fleury

Get use to the line flipping, it was a way of life last season and seems to work.
