I would ski - but we all know I'm a stark raving lunatic.
I have had some GREAT days skiing in this sort of stuff & made some big gains in my skiing by having lessons in it.
Having said that there is this to qualify it with.
a) I have a season pass for my resorts - so the 'bad' days I can look at as 'free' days - & having not paid for a lift ticket I am happy to ski 1/2 a day or so & go home. Hence I ski in the rain, on windhold days, whatever for as long as I like - then go home to the fire/beer...
b) I have a lesson every day - so I have someone to say 'remember at all costs do xxxx - or don't do yyyy' to help minimise my injury risks. Perhaps you should post a thread in instruction with a request for tips for this type of skiing if you are going.
c) I'm crazy, mad, stupid - the last days we skied this season at one resort were like this. After instructor & I commented on not having seen patrol lately they promptly came & removed 3 people in a row from the slopes around us in 1/2 hour. There were BIG crashes that had no injuries too - one from a GOOD guy on the race course(no course set)
Skis went REALLY high into the air! So BE CAREFUL!
