Welcome.
Which model Volkl are you looking for? Any model Volkl with Renntiger on it around 200cm? I have never seen a Volkl with only just Renntiger on it. I am sure that there are members here with knowledge of this..more than likely have the skis..or know where they are. I still see Volkl's on Ebay,Craigs,Kijiji, junk stores.. with Renntiger on them.

Correction. Ya..I think I did see a model of Volkl a long time ago that only said Renntiger in larger letters on it. It was iirc a whitish ski with orange and black stripes at 90 deg. to it's length..all the way..tip to tail The stripes being about 3/4" wide. The only one of those I ever saw.
I have seen/had Volkl's with Renntiger on them that was in small letters in addition to P9 etc.,

I have heard some good things about them. Not sure exactly what vintage (straight skis) or color top sheet. Looking for opinions on which one is "The One" to add to my vintage quiver of users....

Renntiger

That pair is about an 1988 vintage. The next generation had the same top, but with white sidewalls. The 1990 version had a more flourescent top, white sidewalls. All of that era skied about the same. I may have access to a pair of 199 205 cms, if you are interested. Let me know.

I have a pair of Volkl Renntigers 205cm. I bought them new in Aspen (Crystal Sports?) - I believe the year was 1992. They have a slalom sidecut, and were quite a ski back in the day. Marker bindings.

Forgive my ignorance, but do these skis have any value? Are there folks out there that enjoy "vintage" (sorry - for lack of a better word) skis? I am on 170cm Fischer RX8s now, and can't imagine going back to the long, skinny boards.

These Volkls just sit in my basement, which seems like a shame if someone would like to own them.

Any thoughts?

Oooh...Ooohhh!!  P9 slaloms.  Me like - still have them in my basement!

So are you willing to part with the Volkl Renntigers? & how much?

Sorry, they are gone.

Best regards,

Bob

I'm not a passholder, so I can't post a link...

Check out CL for Norfolk, VA.

195 cm Volkl Renntiger, with Salomon 747 bindings and Allsop alpine poles.  Includes bag.  Guy is asking $85.  No affiliation.

Actually, you have plenty of posts and feedback to post a sale post in the Gear Swap forum, and you can post a link anywhere as long as it is relevant to the topic.

If you have any problems, send me a PM.

Recently dug up a pair of skis out of the attic. Volkl Renntiger 203 R Weltcup. The winter of 2015 started to show some promise. Have not been to the mountain in over five years. These skis still in pristine condition have not been used as the snowfall of late has not merited a trip and truth be told my bones are getting old. Most likely the case is my skiing days are behind me now though it would be nice to get just one more run. Was saving these for the perfect day which never came.
