Dyna ProRider v. Mantra ?

Can anyone out there provide a good comparison between the Dynastar ProRider & the Volkl Mantra?

Tried the search function but can't come up with any great info.

Dynastar is much stiffer. More stable harder to turn. Mantra more nimble. Both good edge hold.

I have skiied both and found them to be VERY similar. I found the dynastar to be even stiffer than the Mantra, that seems to be the primary difference. I thought the Mantra floated a little better (although they are both kind of bottom feeder powder skis, you need lots of speed to keep the tips up, built more for versatility in powder-crud-hardpack than one particluar condition).

I ended up on the Mantra and I'm happy with it. Rip sticks.

The was much discussion about the prorider 176 vs 186 being very different skis, so you might want to qualify that difference in your search.

Thanks. I PM'd Sierra Jim and received an excellent education on the flex differences between the 176 & 186.

At least in terms of the '07-'08 176 Legend Pro Rider, it seems to me like this would be a lateral move from my 184 Mantra.

I think I'll hold out and try to demo the '09 186 LP next season.

Cheers

FYI - I believe the 186 will be a 184 next year.
