We got into Denver on Thursday and drove to Breckenridge after a stop at Applejack Dinner at Backcountry Brewery in Frisco. On Friday, we headed to Copper Mtn. (buy one get one free tix) Vail Pass was closed so traffic backed up. We got on the mountain at about 10:30. There were several inches of new snow which made for great skiing, but less than ideal picture taking. Here Tom enjoys the soft moguls:

After a great day of skiing, it was back to Breck for dinner at Mi Casa, one of my favorites. Saturday was one of my best days ever at Breckenridge. (Photos by Mike Saemisch)

Also, more photos here: http://homepage.mac.com/saemisch/Pow...es/031608.html

Dinner was a burger at Empire Burger in Breckenridge, which was tasty.

Sunday, there were just two of us skiing and Mike left an noon. We skied the Lake Chutes etc. After lunch I came out expecting awful lift lines, but instead I found:

I made as many laps up Chair 6 and Imperial Chairs, down through the Horseshoe Bowl as my legs would take. I made three runs with Trygve Berge, who was a character. It was fun to hear the history. More info at:

Monday was Arapaho Basin Day. Nice view from the top:

Tom tearing it up:

It was a bluebird morning, but it turned cloudy later. We had a good meal at Steak and Rib in Breck.

On Tuesday, the plan was to go back to Copper, but Tom was under the weather so I skied Breck. again by myself so there wwas not too many photo ops. Anyhow a view shot:

Overall, it was very good ski week! The only downside was I received e-mails from three cat operations around home looking to fill seats at the short-notice discount
