When do you head back to the PGA Village? Tell Bob Baldassari I said hello when you get there. What a great facility that is! I played in 3 events down there over 2 weeks in 2000 and had a blast. A friend of mine has a condo across the street from #16 (I think) of the Dye course and I stayed there. Hit balls well into the night not to mention thousands of bunker shots out of the different bunkers.
Actually I've been in Port St. Lucie since October-taking a winter off from skiing to work on the game. I've hit so many balls at the Learning Center my hand are starting to act up. Golf is a second career so there is a lot of catching up. Been in the industry 9 years, got my class A three years ago
Sounds like you were staying in Castle Pines where I have a condo. (I figure I am at least two years away from break even with the over built market down here and mortgage mess but I knew that going in). The rebuild of the Dye course last summer really improved it. Still gimmicky in places though. PGA Village is a great golf location with the three courses here, the Learning Center and The PGA Country Club just across 95. I tend to play the CC more often than the Golf Club; a neighbor is a member and I still get a great PGA rate Jan through March and even better the rest of the year.
Heading back to Colorado just after the Masters-might have to shovel the golf course clean with all the snow in Breckenridge.
Good Luck with getting off Class F One of my fellow assistants is stuck there-a lack of $$$ on his part-it seems to get more and more expensive for the apprentices. It is a tough business.
