We went skiing today at Mt. Baker. The weather was in the upper '20s, it was snowing and sometimes foggy, sometimes sunny, sometimes in between. There was some new snow, about 3", on top of new from yesterday. The skiing was good and the crowds were small. Everything is completely covered up there with 14 feet of base. A great day of skiing with decent snow.

As we drove home we left the snowy winter and watched the land change from one season to another. The snow disappeared, buds showed on some of the bushes, the sun came out and the sky turned blue, by the time we got home to sea level the cherry blossoms were blooming and trees were budding all over town. It was really a great drive. It's one of the joys of Spring skiing for me; coming home to a different season.

No pictures, sorry. We'll do it again tomorrow.
