In case you didn't see my mini-report from last week...http://forums.epicski.com/showthread.php?t=68126
I was spending most of my time with the family (except the KH day), so I didn't get to see as much of the steep terrain as I would have otherwise liked. However, when I did hit those areas, the snow was certainly good in most areas. In the back bowls of Lake Louise, especially the less travelled stuff off the platter, the snow was good. In the Ptarmigan trees, it was pretty thin. At KH, the upper mountain was very good - I hit mostly north facing and wind favored aspects from the ridges. There were some rocks, but they could be easily avoided. At Sunshine, again, the steeper, somewhat out of the way areas had fine snow; high traffic areas - not so much. We didn't get more than a few cm and that was early in the week, IIRC.
