Wow, what a dramatic ending for the SG WC!!!

Cuche had a 99 point lead over Austrian Hannes Reichelt.
Reichelt won the race with 0.01 advantage over the number two, Didier Defago.
Cuche came in 16th, outside of teh points!!!
His fellow compatriot Daniel Albrecht pushed him outside of the points by finishing 15th as second to last starter!

Damn he must be bummed!!

ANyways, the good news for Bode Miller is that Cuche needs to win both remaining races while Bode doesn't score over 9 points to win the overall cup.
After the upset of taday however, Cuche stated he wouldn't start in the last SL race so Miller has got it in the bag. Congrats!

In a way its' nice to see so many different winners and nationalities take home a cup.

Women's SG just finished too...

Vonn 2nd

Riesch 6th

Hosp 11th

Congrats to Riesch on the SG Globe!

Now Vonn leads Riesch by 197pts in the overall. It's in the bag for her really!

As long as:

a. Riesch doesn't win both races; or
b. Vonn gets a top-15 finish in either one

(and the former is more likely than the latter, frankly speaking.)

Vonn will win the overall. Kudos to her.

Vis. Cuche, etc. Interesting that his teammate didn't lay down for him, no?
