I'm 6'0 190 and primarily ski in Tahoe. I have both a K2 Seth (179 cm) and a K2 Maiden AK (179 cm). Both are brand new and never drilled; but, I have to get rid of one and am not sure which to keep. The Maiden AK has a 3.5 mm edge, it's also steel, an obvious advantage over the Seth, which has a 2.5 mm aluminum edge. I've demod the Seth before and absolutely loved it; but, the guy that sold me these new Seths said he had some Maiden AK's in plastic at home that he won for being the top sales person so I grabbed those too. I prefer to try a ski out before purchasing so my instinct is to lean toward the Seth; but, from what I hear in various forums the Maiden AK is an absolute demon on the slopes, it's also the PBR Brewski version, which is only a cosmetic advantage; but, it's still a pretty cool looking ski. What do you guys think? Which would you keep?
