Samurai has it. I fixed a jacket at the beginning of this season that I had had for only a few days. I just used some clear duct tape. On the inside. Poked it through from the outside..did not have to mess with the inside..liner..anything.. and lined up the tears..new seams. I did not do anything at all to the outside. I can't believe how little this shows and how long it has lasted.
I got about a 2 inch slice in my ski pants. I slipped a piece of duct tape behind the slice, pressed it to one side of the tear, carefully brought the other side of the tear to match, pressed down and done. Can't see it and that was over a year ago and at least 60 ski days, I'm amazed it's still there and still waterproof.
