Skier's Edge Manual?

Thread Starter
I don't know exactly where to put this post, so I apoligize in advance if it belongs somewhere else).

I just bought a used Classic Skier's Edge training machine, and I really need a copy of the user's and/or service manual. I contacted the company and they sell a manual, but it's more than I care to spend at the moment, so if I could borrow one just to get started I would be grateful.

I may also need a belt. I was quoted, I think, $190.00! I'd be interested if someone had a used one that was still serviceable.

Thanks!

Did you ever get any responses?  I have one too, and not sure how to adjust the ^$#* thing!

I have the Skier's Edge III manual and can copy and mail or fax it to you, if that's the right model.

I'm looking for the workout video that came with it. Any chance you can make a copy for me?

I just picked up a used skiers edge 3 without the manual.  If you can send a copy of the manual I would appreciate it.  You can contact me at skiersjp@aol.com.  I do not have the video.  Thanks.

I don't know how long the link will be available.

I forgot all about this....did you get the manual yet?

I too need a manual for the Skiers edge III. The web link no longer works, probably due to the fact that they just updated their website.

Thanks!

Warm greetings, I too have had poor experience with Skiers Edge customer service, purchased used skiers edge sans manual and they want to sell me new power bands . I would be happy to pay someone a fair price for a copy not $200. Thank you

hello,
Send me a PM w some contact info & I'll gladly pass it along.
While I am sorry that you have had this experience, I can attest to some rather large turn over at the company.
As an extension athlete, I am not directly engaged w/ corporate.
Shoot me a PM!

Hello, I also would like to get an S4 manual as well if possible, please... My ex has partially disassembled the ski machine (Big Mountain Series S4), and I would like to put it back properly.  And without a manual I think it would be hard to make all wheels work... Thank you very much in advance.

Sincerely,

Milan

This looks an old thread, but... I just picked up a used Skiers Edge III and would like to have the manual for it.

Does anyone here have the manual still? Thanks!

They're pretty creepy about not supplying parts of any kind, presumably including manuals, unless you get new bands. Initially I came across a consumer complaint about this practice and it turns out to be true. It would certainly stop me from buying one.

Yes, they are very secretive... But I only paid $40 for it and plan to use it for ACL rehab in a few months.

Yeah, they will give you a Buying Guide, not a manual. To get a manual, you have to buy new power bands.

"Skier's Edge will not sell any replacement parts or upgrades for a used machine unless Power Bands are purchased or are less than 2 years old."

As I recall, the price of the bands is nuts.

Very cool, been searching for any user manual out there for the Skiers Edge.  I have talked with their customer service and all I get is that they want me to buy new belts that I don't need.  Very frustrating.  It would be fantastic if you could share your copy of the manual with us frustrated Skiers Edge owners.

Thanks; Todd  logdesignnw@yahoo.com

I'm also looking for the S4 manual.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.
