Help with Pain in Low Part of Shin

I have the Atomic Hawx H-80 boots, 27.5 (shell fit with a finger and half), and custom footbeds. I have a fairly strong pain in the lower part of the shin bone (thinking it's my tibia?). It's about 4" above my foot and on the top of the bone to the outside facing portion of the bone. The bootfitter who made my footbeds said I have a pretty sharp bone there without much flesh (he jokingly said I should start eating more pizza and beer to help with this).

The pain for the first day or two was almost exclusively on my left leg only. By the third day, my right leg also had a little pain there, but it was much less severe than the left. My left foot is a little smaller than my right.

The bootfitter heat molded my liners and asked if that helped. When I said it didn't, he reheated that part of the left liner, did something to it, and in the shop the pain went away. However, it returned to a lesser degree on the slopes.

I didn't have time to hook back up with him in central NY. I'm going to Snowmass in a week. Do you guys have any recommendations on what I might try to do to solve this? Also, if necessary, who I might see right there in Snowmass Village?

Many thanks,
Cliff

Jack Rafferty at the Thotic Shop in the Snowmass Village. He will ease your pain.

Starthaus,

Jack sends his regards. You weren't kidding about him easing my pain! He took really great care of me! To eliminate the pain in the tendon across the lower part of my leg, he hooked me up with an Eliminator tongue. He did a little work on my liner in that area as well, and had to grind a little material out of the Eliminator. Thanks for recommendation!
