Yuki...has not offered advice to me of any value...he has insulted me many times though....oh you didnt see that part?

I seem to recall his last public post as an A M F to me...funny how that was removed from public view.

I'm not quite sure why other people feel the need to step in on this. If he wants to challenge Yuki and settle their differences, so be it.

After all its not a threat, its a chllenge. For all I know he will hand me my a$$....I just want a chance to see if he's all talk or actually has something to back up all that he says, t'is all

A public challenge for people to observe and to share the humor. At first, this thread was quite funny, but then people thought they would put their two cents in regarding the OP's character which wasn't necessary.

So, is it posible to add a poll after a thread has been started? I can sure think of some good polling questions:

If the ski race ever took place, who would win?

Well.........I raced once, EVER! If you want to laugh at the results, you can go here.
Friends talked me into racing. That one race qualified me for Steamboat.
IIRC I was on my K2 burnin Luvs. wonder what I'd have done on my Mag SL's

No doubt Yuki has read the story of the great Japanese Master who upon hearing the boasting of a brash young upstart who said something to the effect of "I break wind at him" (it's been a loooong time since I read this)., got all hot under the color and traveled many a mile to face the young challenger. The challenger said, " What sort of a master are you that I can summon you merely by breaking wind?"

Yuki either doesn't see the humour in this thread, or considers RR not worth the while. Well played Yuki.

Now if I challenged him to a chinese downhill or a race against the wally-wagon (say on the Perth Road between Kingston and Perth Onario at an undisclosed time when the POleece were not about), we might see some action

Yup. Week before. I thought about coming out and sweeping people off their feet [Steve] again but I couldn't make the weeks line up as easily as some turns can...

Run gates huh? Maybe I can hop into a nastar course while I'm out there that week and then you can jump in the following week and that way we can run with the same pace setter on the same hill and compare handicaps if you'd like... Maybe I can have coach set up a pair of cheater GS skis for me or something.

Bumps might be more interesting though (it was only according to some of the members here... others may have offered a differing opinion - beverage dependent of course). Fortunately, I've learned a thing or two since last year though (okay, maybe three things, but I don't want to push it ), which just makes life all the more interesting.

You going to be around that week or no?

OH! Almost forgot... Sugarcube - I got a new ski jacket finally!

haha doc This is more like a LAPD low speed pursuit where the fool just won't pull over and stop no matter what. Already running on four flat tires, 200 cop cars in front and behind, etc.. And, we are all glued to the set waiting for the tasers:

I think it is Yuki that is in a facility of some sort: Double top secret Eastern European downhill training and conditioning:::::::c ool: He'll make one of those "Epic" movie comebacks next season when RR has bullied everybody off the mountain and nobody knows where to turn. Yuki will come riding over the horizon poles a blazin' to restore order to the community:

I really hope they don't ban Richie. If he weren't real, we'd have to invent him (and I mean no offense by that). Richie is earnest and opinionated, and that can rub people the wrong way, I guess. But he's also humble and shows an eagerness to get on with skiing that I think is laudable--particularly given that he skis in a region where many less keen skiers would just throw in the towel and say "not worth it."

Richie certainly hasn't been part of the asinine name-calling I've seen on some threads here (instruction and gear, particularly), though I don't think Yuki has either. Spring's coming. How about a barbeque cook-off after a nice day on the slopes?
