The "Better late than never" TR:

Revelstoke: Selkirk-Tangiers, Dec 14-16, 2007:

This is a video TR without a lot of explanation. All I will tell you is that the snowfall totals were 40cm, 10cm, 25 cm, and 40cm (that's 16", 4", 10", and 16" for you metrically challenged folks) from the night before we got there until the day we left. Do you really need much more explanation? I didn't think so...

Pretty nice early-season conditions. I'll let the video from the last day tell the rest of the story....enjoy!

Watched the whole thing. That was pretty flipp'n sweet. Music kind of blew.

Architecture in Helsinki-Do The Whirlwind, I always thought that would be a cool ski porn song.

I may have been snarky about the choice of music in an otherwise stellar TR, but that is just cold.
Very, very nice. Did you do that yourself or was it professionally edited? Either way it was impressive. Much better than this year's Warren Miller!

It was shot and edited by Peak Video Productions who are friends of mine. The footage is used for producing a number of things including a half-hour ski show that shows around the country. Right now, Rossignol's "Pure Mountain Adventure" is showing on something like 225 cable channels plus on the RSN network. What I posted here is just what he puts together at the end of the day for all of us to have as souveniers. I've got a pile of these things from all the trips we've had doing this. It's a great gig!

Great footage, skiing and editing but the music is quite unbearable. Sounds like Creed or something equally as bad.

It's Alter Bridge, the former Creed actually. To each their own, I guess. The lead singer who essentially replaced Scott Stapp is Myles Kennedy and is from Spokane where I'm from. I actually don't have anything to do with filming, editing, or picking the music, I just ski.

I thought the music was ok and I love how tons of people who have never posted anything even close this are complaining about the music. Its a great powder skiing video. thanks for sharing goldmember.

anytime you want to sponsor someone to go *cough*bushwacker*cough*

Yeah, we got pretty lucky. S-T is far enough north and we ski high enough that they weren't affected by the Dec 5 rain event that left the instability that SnowH2O had. We got lucky at Baldface too which is only about 25-30 miles from SnowH2O but had about twice the total snow. Unfortunately, I don't have any video of that trip I can put up. It's on DVD only and is pretty fun to see. Deep snow and a bluebird day on the last day. This S-T video here is definitely deeper though...
