Great pics. That is one of the few TRs from back east that makes me think "I would like to ski there".

Wow, gorgeous. I was there the day before and it was very dark and frigid in the morning but cleared up (similar to your pics) later on. Still my favorite place to ski w/ the exception of the $80 lift ticket.

Edit: Oh yeah... there was an old gent on the lift that day with really short K2 twin tips. He said they were good in the pow/trees and that I should try some (I was sporting my outdated, skinny Kastle 200's). It was friggin' cold w/ the wind where the four runner quad came up over the crest. He was talking about back in the day and how they used to give you wool blankets before you got on the lift. I asked "how long have you been skiing here?" He said "oh, since the 40's."

Those little red X boxes look like nothing I have ever seen at Stowe

My buddy talked about the blankies too. I think they were around in the 70s. Wait, that's 30+ years ago!!! (damnit I'm getting old .

Yes Stowe had some great days last year. Hoping for more ... maybe this wet cool weather we had in summer will continue ....

I remember the blankets, and I moved to New England in 1981. That's only 20+ years ago!
