You Might Just Be a Gaper

OK this works like the Jeff Foxworthy just might be a redneck monologue like we did with ski bums. I'll light this candle since it takes one to know one?

If your yachting clothes are also your ski clothes
If your NFL staduim clothes are also your ski clothes
If your hunting clothes are also your ski clothes
If your snomobile clothes are also your ski clothes

then you just might be a gaper.

Hey, I did say "it takes one to know one"

For example, I remember way back long ago putting the lift ticket in the main zipper of my jacket and getting whacked in the face by it all day long..:

Where else do you put your lift ticket?

That's me. When it's wet I take the bottoms (farmer john) from an old snow-mobile suit.

Hey! At least I have a ski jacket now and ski mits. I used to wear a parka and horsehide work mitts.

My bright blue fart bag and black stretch pants both have a little D ring on the side where I attach them.

Some jackets have a strap in the right or left hand pocket that also have a D ring for attaching lift tickets. Then, you can tuck them inside when you are not skiing.

I just wear mine on the front of my goggles.

Hey, that's a good idea. That way if it's snowing when you get there then the sun comes out you can take off your jacket and keep on skiing and still have your lift ticket:

Some racers wrap it around their google strap, or paste it on their boot. (The lift ticket)

So, are there European specefic gaper traits? In the US Dallas Cowboys Jackets are popular. So, would one see a lot of Liverpool Reds, Manchester United, or Rea'l Madrid gear in the Alps?

Gaper

You just might be a Gaper if you wear your Logging Carhart overalls to the ski hill with a matching Orange wool ski hat.

I saw this on eBay-forgive me fopr posting an auction pleez mods.. I know it is a toddler jacket but geezzz, it doesn't belong in the downhill skiing section IMO..

Buccaneers NFL Ski Jacket

You are bidding on a brand new NFL brand Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFL Ski Jacket Child size Double Extra Large / XXL. The parka jacket is embroidered with the Bucs logo on the front and on the back. This jacket was bought for over $150. The ski jacket is licensed by the National Football League. It is size Kids Small, and it fit my son like a 4T would. Warm, cuddly and stylish!

Saiz "Slider"! I remember ice days with slick nylon bibs. The chairs were coated with 1/2" of ice so hold on:. Many didn't have safety bars before 1980

Mmm ... I think that any bobble hat would do it. A Luton Town one would be a pretty clear sign.

Also a Father Christmas hat.

If you're French, you will probably prefer a Jester's Hat

or perhaps one of those multi-coloured top-hats (stovepipe?).
