The two CB sport outlets are going out of business permenantly and hope to be completly liquidated by the end of March.

Anyone within driving distance of the Bennington VT or Saratoga NY stores should check them out for what should be excellent pricing on remaining inventories.

As you may recall, Bonni worked there for awhile and this announcement is at the request of her old boss who asked that we make the announcement on Epic.

Partial list of name brand ski wear is:

Marker
Orage
Predator
Liquid
Hot Chilly
Duofold
Marker brand thermals
Giro
Grandoe
Smart Wool
Woolrich
Royal Robbins
Life is Good
Crocs
Smith Eyewear
and others

Are the outlets or the manufacturer going out of business?

CB has not made clothing for awhile. I doubt there is any CB branded inventory left at all. The 2 outlets were the last vestige of the brand and had been selling mostly other manufacturer in the most recent past. So I guess you could say both are going out.

When I worked there, they hadn't made any CB brand stuff in a while. The only available CB outerwear left were about 6 pair of women's black and maroon fart bags. And those are now gone, also.

CB decided to stay open and offer other brand names at good prices. Currently the Bennington store has a fairly large stock of mens and womens ski jackets and pants, helmets, gloves, socks, and thermals. They also have winter and fall clothing, kids stuff....it's a big store.

It's kind of sad that they're closing, but they had a good run. The discounts will be deep, so get em while the sizes are still there.

And they were the coolest in the late '70s and early '80s, no doubt.

I have a huge CB banner in vinyl with brass grommets. It's so ugly it's cool. I have a few pins, too.

Goodwill is your best supplier of the 70's and 80's neon wear.

CB Raiders were the cat's meow back in the day.

To be honest, I never really liked that store. Can't believe it took this long.

But I did have jacket back in the 70's. Corduroy (large sized ridges) green with blue trim and it looked good on me
