A bakers dozen;

Looking down Lone Star at 9:30am, Mineral Basin at its finest. Frank, a retired MD and Epic member is happy to show the way.

some great bluebird shots there. One thing I didn't get a lot of on my trip was sun (and I didn't care much) ... and the snow looks pretty good still too

20 inches of Fresh in the prior 60 hours, knee deep on every run. Mark Gardener took me to some of the steep & deep in the morning and Josh & I had a run in the afternoon after he finished his classes.

It was an Epic day, my thanks to my Utah buds.

Michael, phenominal pics! You missed your calling. Photog and skier extrodinnaire! (sp) I really want to go play in Catherines area (pun intended) Those trees are awesome. I hope you found some nice groomers to play on (Greg made me say that)

Great PIX! (A lot better than the ones i took with my cellphone). I didn't hit Mineral until it was pretty chopped up on Tuesday, but Road to Provo was awfully sweet. Lucked out in the afternoon and got to hike a bit and drop into Living the Dream just before I ran out of steam around 3PM. best fun I had was on the Peruvian side of Cirque Traverse - hooked up with a gang who led me down something called Hanging Tree. Went back to it a few times and would go back again - nice cornice onto some attention-grabbing pitches. Thanks for posting - it'll make the memories much clearer! Jonny

Not bad. If the dollar gets any weaker we will start paying Europeans to ski here.

Don't spread the word, I left Colorado and came here to get away from the crowds.

Awesome photos, makes me wish I was there right now!

Nice shots- I'd forgotten how nice that stuff off of Road to Provo is. Imagine hitting that, Mineral Basin and then making the Devil's Castle rope drop on the same lift ticket. Beyond awesome. I skied Alta the day before. Visibilty was about 40' but who cares...

what I like is to hear the shout and hollers of pure joy while riding up the little cloud lift when they drop that rope, people falling and in the snow all over, pure joy happening...little cloud bowl is my favorite place on planet earth, i never tire of it and i just love skiing that bowl, esp down to the left of the lift(or the steep part among the rocks to the right going down), only thing i don't like is that boarders travsering it. bring to mind, i swear it was about 20:1 skis/boarders on the tram this year, - right tool for the right job!
