Washington state locals

Thread Starter
Seeing the recent post about the Crystal get together prompted me to register.

So all of you other Washington locals how about sharing tips and views on local areas, runs, ski stores, techs and instructors?

If the snows good I love pretty much anything off the top chair at Alpental and if you can't have a good time at Crystal then you're not trying! I've never found a store that's really impressed for customer care and expertise so I tend to shop around. My wife wants to book some private lessons and any suggestions for a really good local instructor for her would be appreciated.

I would suggest cris kastner at crystal ,he runs the Crystal ski school and teaches the steep camps. A great guy and still gives privats I believe

Crystal also has Tracy McEwan Gibbons. She teaches a women's camp.

The next two sessions are Feb 21-22 and March 9-10.

If you can't get Chris try Nelson Windgard. He's very good. Crystal resident ski school.
