When you guys are talking about skier weight (ie, 5'9" 185lbs) is the weight quoted a bollock naked weight or fully kitted up with boots & pack etc - which is considerably greater.

I go with raw body weight myself, and it's merely used to give an idea how my weight compares to my height. Since I only use it in the context of ski reviews, I think it's a reasonable baseline. For other analysis/planning purposes, gross weight may indeed be more relevant.

The skier weight referred to is just the weight of the bollocks alone.
Skiing neked is naughty

Skier weight is just your normal weight..shirt,pants. Add 500 lbs for older Atomic GS skis, binding, and Dynafits.

No gear. With gear (including skis) I'm sure I tip the scales at 185 to 190 - up from 160 actual weight.
