I will be back out to the boat if anyone will be around. Phil should be there sometimes that week as well.

I hope you realize the NASTAR Nationals are being held March 13 - 16 at Steamboat. There will be an extra 1400 racers plus their friends and families there. My wife and I will be competing in the races but hope to get some tree skiing in also.

I had to go when my nice and nephew could go, This will be my 4th week there this season, so it's OK. BTW- you will be one of the few racers that actually ventures off a groomer. I was there last year during NASTAR and I really didn't notice. The restaurants get crowded but most of them are really there for the races. They do have a bunch of stuff at the village during that week. Last year Big-head Todd and Monsters played outside and them WM showed his movie outside as well. It was a lot of fun. Good luck!

Well, a cold Fat Tire Ale and Chicken Nacho Supreme at the Tug Boat Saloon would do for me.

Have one for me will ya?

Sorry about missing the cold ones. It was great talking with you. I did meet up with rcahill on the race course. I was racing against his wife yesterday in the Race of Champions. After adjusting for age handicap discounts the scores were incredibly close. Mrs. rcahill got second and I got fourth in the overall non-alpine division.

I'm going to look ridiculous in the GS suit that I won Sat. night.

I hope you are enjoying those bumps and powder with Philpug.

My wife decided she would look even more ridiculous in a speed suit so she got one that fits me.

How was the skiing this week? Were the crowds bad? I read in the online Steamboat Today that earlier this week the ski shops were running out of rental gear. I am heading there with my family this Sunday for a week so hope that the crowds die down a little.
