Felt similar to the AC40, not as laterally aggressive (although still laterally stiff) and was much more predictable off-piste. Still a light and aggressive feel (vs. a more damp, even flex wood core laminate ski like a Stockli). It was very easy to ski as well. I believe my pair was 16m in a 170cm. As such, most of the 90mm skis with a close to 20m radius were better at speed in crud, but the AC50 wasn't too far behind. I liked them much better than the AC40, but prefered the more damp, traditional feel that some of the other, wider skis I tried (like the Stockli) Still, it was a nice ski that I wouldn't mind having around for those days when I needed a quick ski that could venture into a fair bit of new snow. I thought it was comparable to the HellDiver, although a little quicker edge to edge and a better carver, and not as GS-like or stable in big arcs as the Cold Heat and new Magfire 82x/82ti, but with more of a carver feel and ease to it, laterally wants to move more.
