Anybody familiar with the Hart Formula CS? There was a US Freestyle Team issue model that was supposed to be similar to the F17, but i have no other info. Anybody ever had a pair of Formula CS?

There were some various sources previous generations that have no affiliation to current Harts.

Well I just bought some 180 cm that have never seen snow for 12 dollars, should be about $30 and change with shipping. What the heck huh? I'll take a few runs on them next fall or late spring if I get out again after they come I'd like to replace some old F17s that rotted in storage: Think I might have found some but will give these a try too until daddy can afford 21st century skis.

OK the F17s arrived today. They say "Monocap F17" and are actually 177 cm. The tip mid and tails are the same dimensions as the CS. but the CS has a foam core, ick. They were both under $40 each shipped. The CS had never seen snow, the F17s were in very good shape but had major rust that I took care of, no core shots or cracks though. I will try them both out and am betting I much prefer the slightly stiffer 17s.

I've had a pair of F-17's and they were great bump skis. They rank with the best evers.

About the foam core, two of the best ever bump skis were foam core. The Rossignol 4SM and the Dynastar V9

Another world class bump ski the Solomon Force9 was also foam core monococ ski, both the 4SM and the solomon were also early cap design skis.

Thanks. Here's a photo of my new old bump ski quiver. 1000 points to someone that knows what year F17s these are. I'm just a skier that missed most of the 90s and 00s. I'm not a gear head:

I suspect when Phl's Hart boys get rolling folks will be willing to let go of some pretty tasty used F17s to make room for the new ones. Many folks spouses say "you can't buy nw ones until you sell some old ones". That's where bums like me come in to the food chain
