Aspen/Snowmass or Big Sky?

Next year I will have the chance to go to Aspen/Snowmass in the beginning of January and hit Big Sky at the end of March. Hopefully I will be able to do both, but if I had to chose one, which should I chose? I have skied Aspen/Snowmass many times and love it there, but have never been up to Big Sky. What do you think?

I would probably go with Big Sky in March. Better chance of a deep base by then. But if nightlife is a priority, then Aspen would be much better just about anytime.

Oh man............ that's a tough decision. It doesn't matter, you can't go wrong. The only thing that could sway your decision is if CO has a bad snow year in the beginning.

Thanks for the responses! Luckily I don't have to chose yet, and hopefully I won't have to chose at all.

I love Aspen, however, I'm looking forward to my roadtrip to Big Sky. From what I've researched it sounds like Big Sky averages more snow and has a similar snow pack to CO...relatively thin and rocky, granted both places are having a good season this year. Really don't think you can go wrong but I'd imagine Big Sky is less expensive.
