OK, I know where you're talking about now. I didn't go in there at all last year, the base wasn't really sufficient to cover it enough to be skiable (for me). Even Gad Chutes never even really filled in: the only time I went there I hit a buried rock and whacked my knee, taking me out of the Alta mini
SSS: yes, the Cirque is longer, but since it's not open to mortals I don't count it. I admit to poaching the chute on the Chair 4 side above Thunder Saddle, though. (Is that even a poach? It's hard to tell where exactly the boundary is.)
I think the longest sustained 40+ pitch in Utah is Restaurant Chutes/Barry Barry at Snowbird. In Tahoe, probably the Scott Chair liftline at Alpine, or Silverado at Squaw, which aren't much. Doesn't Telluride take the prize in Colorado?
