Advise on a soft tip somewhat fat ski.

I am an upper midwest skier who takes a couple of trips west a year. I look for powder on my trips. I have been using an 180 cm Explosive with a somewhat rearward mounted binding. I like them alot, but I have been reading that this is a stiff ski and that there are advantages to going to a softer shovel. I would like to add one of these to my small quiver.

I don't want to go the the superfat RC type ski. Probably staying somewhere about 100 mm in width. Also, looking for one that I could pick up for a reasonable (cheap) price. Have considered the Rossi Scratch BC.

Thanks for the suggestions.

The Nordica Blowers and Enforcers fit pretty well with what you are looking for.

Why not a fan? Why? Can I assume you prefer a stiffer ski?

I do like a stiffer ski, both of the skis I mentioned are decent skis just not skis I personally like.

Thanks all -- I have checked ebay and looks like I should be able to find one of the suggestions at the price I am looking for.
