Milo, our 4 years old Lhasa Apso mix that we adopted last year... he is much more of a summer than winter dog, at least he loves to be outdoors!

Hi I'm Emmy.  I'm a 2 year old 55 pound AmStaff that has found a great new home.  I LOVE my new family, even the hostile cat that hacks me up every other day.  It's hot outside right now and none of the kids are doing anything fun at the moment so I'm just chillin on the couch.  I hope they don't notice.  I'm not always allowed up here.

It runs a little long but this is a really funny video of one of my Airedales and a fish in my pond.

Very sorry for your loss.  It has to be the hardest part about having a dog in your family.

My sincere condolences Tom. You have many good memories.

So sorry to see that beautiful dog is gone

A home never seems right after the loss of a dog. Sounds like he had a nice long life, but the empty house is hard to deal with.

We lost our Newf in March. We headed for the Arizona desert, then did a bike trip in Europe.

We still can't get use to him not being around.  Take care Cirq.

Thanks for the condolences.  We have been here before when Molly passed.  This thread began in 2009, and many of our friends featured in these pages have left their families, and it is inescapable that our canine companions live an accelerated cycle of life relative to our own.  This thread has always been a special window into that special relationship, and the next picture should be of a frolicking pup, a swim in a lake, or a hike in the mountains. smile.gif.

Condolences, for sure.

As to your suggestion, Olli just had the best little trip of his life (well, that doesn't involve snow): hiking, wading, eating table scraps, kissing strange women.... he even caught a small animal (no pics of that, I was sort of horrified as the little varmint gasped and twitched with a broken neck)
